The population of herring and sprat may be higher in the area where the wind turbines are installed compared to an area 10 kilometers from Equinor’s Hywind Scotland offshore wind farm, a new study shows.

NorthWind was represented at the 8th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering, which took place in Oslo this week. The leader of NorthWind’s Science Advisory Committee, Professor Trond Kvamsdal, was instrumental in bringing this conference to Norway. He was interviewed this morning on radio show Nyhetsmorgen.
